Melissa was an Account Manager for LogicaCMG and Graham Technology before helping to set up Triangulum Consulting, Scotland's first outsourced marketing company aimed exclusively at the IT sector, for which she was named Runner Up in Scottish Women in Business New Start Up Business Award. Melissa was responsible for delivering marketing services to technology companies based in Scotland and overseas, including Amperion Inc, Castle Computer Services, Exmos, GEMsoft7 Ltd and Swanston IT. Melissa set up Silverweave Marketing Ltd in 2006 to deliver an expanded range of marketing and sales services to a wider market base.
Melissa holds a Masters Degree in Marketing Management from the Manchester Metropolitan University. She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Scotland IS.
